Hello everyone! Just a quick post today. I decided to do an entry featuring this Hawaiian print kimono that I purchased from a thrift store some years ago. However the catch is that I am actually selling it! If you follow me on Instagram you know that I started my own little online store through an app called "Depop". There you can find various thrifted, vintage, and sometimes new pieces that either A.) I no longer wear B.) Don't fit quite right C.) Need to go to a better home, etc. etc. etc.
Anyway, this kimono is awesome, right?? I simply do not wear it enough. I've had it in my wardrobe for about 4 years and I think I've worn it all of two times. I'm not sure why.. probably because I tend to wear the same things over and over and let too many pieces hang lonely in my closet. This is why I am starting to sell clothes! Hahaha.. I want to share the love. Anyway, the brand of the kimono is Miss Avenue and what originally drew me to it was the pattern. I think it is extremely original compared to other kimonos I have seen over the years, and the Hawaiian style print gives off a vintage vibe. The label is a large, and while I am typically a medium, it fits perfect on me for that oversized, flowy fit. Festival season, summer picnics, day trips to the beach.. this little number has got you covered for the warm days ahead.
If you live in the states and are interested in the items I am selling over on Depop, you can find me under the username "susannalynnwilds". Unfortunately I do not ship internationally as it is too expensive, but that may change in the future depending on how successful I am (which may take awhile haha). Basically it has been a goal/dream of mine to have a little store where I can sell awesome stuff.. and Depop is the perfect start. I apologize for plugging my shop over here on the blog, but they say any publicity is good publicity, and I need to get my name out there as much as possible. ;)
Thank you so much for reading! Love to you all.
Firstly, I loved the kimono..it's such a pity that you don't ship internationally :/ haha
ReplyDeleteBut anyways, this outfit is perfection! So so great for spring days! And still have a grunge and rad vibe! Did I mention that your hair is amazing? If I already told you, I say again: it's amazing haha I'm seriously thinking about doing something similar in my hair.
Hope you have a lovely week dear <33
