Hello everyone, how was your weekend?  Awesome, I hope.  I had a birthday on Saturday so that was pretty sweet.  Nothing beats a self arranged four day weekend doing whatever I please.  :)

But look who's back on the roof! I had forgotten how cool rooftop pictures come out on a grey day like today.  The silvery tones along with the pastels in my hair and outfit just pop and make everything look somewhat magical haha.  So with that in mind I decided to revisit the roof for a change of pace.  I still prefer going out into my neighborhood and choosing various settings, but I thought it would be cool to go back to the old and familiar and switch things up a bit.  I definitely won't be snapping photos up there on sunny days anymore because I've come to realize that it is just way too bright and the shadows are way too intense (how many "way too's" can I fit in a sentence?).

Anyway, this is another casual look of mine.  I was dressed up all day on my actual birthday so this is what I wore the day after.. kept it super easy and laid back.  Almost every single item I'm wearing here is thrifted with the exception of my shoes and backpack.  I love when that happens.  I actually made the longer necklace.. well I didn't make the stone but I designed the look and I've been kind of in love/obsessed with it ever since.  I'm not sure if I like the length of the longer necklace with this outfit, though.  Looking at pictures I feel I should have stacked the necklaces more or made the chain on the long one shorter.  Eh, whatever.  Life is a process haha.
