Hi everyone. Here's one last post before we say goodbye to January.  Thank goodness, this month has definitely not been my favorite and I am ready to move forward and welcome in February.

This is a very simple look for today, just another cozy winter outfit to keep me warm and comfortable while I'm out and about.  The flannel shirt I am wearing was another purchase from my visit to Urban Ore a couple of weeks ago (if you read my last post you know how much I love Urban Ore, it is one of my favorite thrift stores in my city).  When I first saw the shirt I was hesitant because I thought it might look too boxy or over-sized on me, but when I tried it on it fell perfectly on my frame, allowing for movement and warmth.  The brand is Uniqlo and it cost me all of ten bucks.  For Uniqlo, ten dollars is quite a steal.  I'm a sucker for a good plaid shirt so obviously I snatched it right up.  I swear, awesome thrift finds are a form of therapy.  My happiness level when I purchase something perfect at a secondhand store is through the roof.  

I kept everything about this look pretty straightforward.  My favorite Smiths tee, velvet leggings (they're actually purple but the color never translates on camera.. arg), my green military jacket for added warmth, my T.U.K. boots because I've basically been living in them this winter, and my usual standard accessories.  It is definitely one of my comfiest outfits but with the right little touches here and there, it still maintains a sense of personal style and self expression. :)
