Beginning to Blue.

I can't get over how freeing it is to take pictures when I'm wearing something that is completely me from head to toe.  I've found that when I'm trying to come up with an outfit that I absolutely love, it is best to go with what is comfortable and what perfectly conveys my style.  As you can see, I went for my usual "happy place" pieces:  my favorite thrifted shoes, my pork pie hat that you're probably tired of seeing but I will never tire of wearing, my husband's Iron Maiden tee, a flannel, and an over-sized denim jacket.  Is it obvious that I'm ready for Fall?  This Summer has been kind of "whatever" and I'm pretty much over it haha.

Also, this is the only pair of jeans that I own.  Obviously I'm usually found in some kind of dress or romper or shorts with tights, but these jeans are called upon days when I'm feeling EXTRA casual and comfy.  They fit me so perfectly that every other pair of jeans I try fail to measure up, so I refuse to settle for anything less from now on haha. They have a high waist, they're stretchy, and they are the perfect vintage stone wash.  No other pair compares! :D
