Hush Little Heart.

My apologies for all of the shots (like, 99% of them) where I'm touching my hat or hair.  It was sooo freaking windy out on the roof today that either my hair wouldn't stop blowing in my face or my hat kept trying to fly off my head. This would also provide an explanation as to why there are no pictures of me smiling because I was insanely annoyed.. siiiigh. :P

Anyway. as I'm sure you've noticed throughout the history of my posts, I tend to incorporate aesthetics from previous eras and decades into my outfits anywhere from the 1960's to the 1990's.  But if there is any decade I tend to gravitate towards the most while still trying to put together a modern look, it has to be the 1980's.  Enter my pork pie hat, studded jean jacket, and studded pink bracelet and the rest of the outfit always seems to come together.  Ever since I was an angsty, frustrated teen listening to 80's punk and new wave instead of whatever R&B/hip hop star was famous at the moment that my peers were listening to (don't get me wrong, I luuuuv me some hip hop), I have been obsessed with the fashion following the music of that time.  It just speaks to me for some reason, and probably always will.  That being said, this is one of the easiest outfits I've put together for my blog because it is so incredibly me and so incredibly comfortable.  You probably know by now that I am constantly trying to mix edge with feminity, and I believe this outfit is the epitome of said combination.  I've never felt more confident in a pair of shorts and a tank top in all my life haha.  No but seriously.
