Slanted and enchanted.

Hello everyone.  Surprise Friday post for ya!  California winter is upon us again, and the weather is supposed to be stormy all weekend so I wanted to snap some pics on the rooftop and get a post up before the rain took over my shooting location (haha).  

This a very typical Susanna outfit, and I know I have featured everything I'm wearing on the blog before, but my whole deal is that I want to inspire others to reuse pieces from their own wardrobe in different ways without feeling like they have to constantly buy something new. The velvet blouse, plaid skirt, fishnets, knee socks and creepers are obviously common staples of mine, individually and collectively.  When I'm feeling like being a little bit dressier, this is a combination I usually gravitate toward, and those who know me know that my jean jacket is pretty much my favorite piece of anything that I own.  I wear it all the time (ALLTHETIME) and it instantly transforms anything else I'm wearing into a completely original "pretty meets punk" ensemble.  The color, texture, and added detailing by me (studs, buttons, rips, etc.) provide the perfect silhouette to almost anything that I wear.  I've had it for about 6 years now, so it's been through many a journey with me.  It's my family! Hahaha

Anyway, that's all for tonight!  Don't be surprised if you hear from me sooner than later, because I have a few things up my sleeve that I've been planning on posting, and I have some extra time on my hands in the next few days to work on them (we'll see?).  I hope everyone has a safe and joyful weekend.  Happy Friday!!
