Hi everyone! It's new blog post time! I'll admit I'm a little early as I had planned on updating about once a week, but I had a bunch of free time this afternoon/evening (and the weekend is looking pretty jam packed), so I decided to take my chances on a second post. :)
Today proved to be a scorcher (at least for my Bay Area blood), and as soon as I got home from work I changed into my go-to comfy outfit for a warm day. Those who know me know that I am addicted to my husband's Adict's t-shirt (no pun intended.. I swear) that I stole-to-own from him about 5 years ago. It's absolutely perfect and comfy as hell and I mean I just.. I would wear it everyday if I could. I paired it with high wasted shorts and creepers because, that's what I do. I was having a particularly annoying hair day so I decided to cover it up with my A's hat. Aaaannd then I decided to have my hubby snap a few shots of me on the rooftop of our apartment complex. I apologize in advance for the amateur shots (get yer mind outta the gutter!), we're new at this, but we'll get better.. I hope... I promise!
(I always carry a flannel or hoodie with me wherever I go, because as soon as the sun goes down, so does the warm weather. Also, I'm not as mean as I look)
Details:
There you have it, my favorite casual summer outfit (at least for right now). Of course I always switch up accessories or details or whatever to add variation to the basic image but you get the idea. :)
Thank you so much for reading and for all of your interest, support and encouragement in this new project/journey of mine. Expressing myself creatively is extremely important to me, and getting dressed is my engine in doing so. I am not trying to pretend to be a size 0 fashion princess (I mean, obviously, have you seen my sweet a$$?), I'm just a regular chick living in urban territory, loving life, and learning to love myself.
Love to you all. =^.^=
